Framlingham 11-13th October 2019.

Post by Tim Hall »

Gentlemen,

it appears that this year's weekend was quite a hit, with those of us who attended and the local populace who seemed to think we were something to do with the Sausage celebrations. The feedback from the hotel management was certainly positive anyway. So how do people feel about doing it again next year. Initially I wasn't going to bother until 2019, but what the hell, if it works.................I know the venue lighting is not brilliant, but that can, perhaps, be fixed by arranging some extra spotlights of our own. We certainly managed to get a really good sized table, and the management like us, so I feel any needs will be accommodated. Dates will again coincide with Sausage Fest, in October 2019, I know it's a while away, but the sooner it's decided, the more time we have to prepare. I throw it open to the floor for discussion. Thank you.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

I loved this years game. It was up there in the top two or three LAW weekends. However next year will almost certainly be a weekend too far, for personal reasons.
However i'd recommend the venue and company to anyone even remotely interested and will look on enviously.

Give me the dates and I'll book me accommodation. Wot Paul said, this year's event was up there with the best of them... Can't wait.

Ok, a quick update. It appears there will not be a Sausage fest next year, apparently it is being revamped and buggered about for 2020. Not that it would put me off arranging another Fram event, just means there will be no bangers on Saturday. Date wise then, I am looking at the second weekend of October, 11th - 13th.

That sounds an excellent idea. I shall make some enquiries. As ever, it's quite aways off for me in the planning stakes but I shall see what I can do.

I'm sure Purple will be up for a sausage fest.

Sadly distance and work makes it unlikely I'll get to the UK at all next year.

These brits can't understand why you Ocho and me can't have a get together at Oodnadatta, Birdsville or somewhere nice and central.

If I get to commute to Chile next year, I am going to invite myself to VBs.

I'm normally an obvious yes provided I'm not expected on the maternity ward. I'll argue the point either way.
