Fine work on the Darkest Africa figures.
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

Those Tribesman look great, love the Witchdoctor. The only way the gentleman explorer could be improved is if he had sported a cricket bat :) That's definitely a false moustache though!

Thanks gentlemen.

I think Foundry makes the exact figure you’re envisioning, complete with school tie. Don’t have him in my lead pile, tho I do have the guy having a cuppa somewhere.

This is a lovely looking project. I’ve always wanted to build up a small force of Zanzibarean Slavers

Went for a more watercolour-type layering this time, inspired by an old Timmo post on his technique. Thought it would capture the linen suit texture a bit better.

The linen suit is top notch, but looking at those teeth, I'd say a trip to the dentist is in order!

First figures painted since my return from the Dark Continent. 7x28mm foot for LAW challenge purposes. Now have 3 full factions to play some Congo. The question is, to build the dastardly Belgians or return my attention to the Corsican Ogre and his minions?...

Another adventurous chap.

Last of my African groups for the forest tribe faction. And a group shot.

These are such charming figures, and very nicely turned out.

Nicely done and that linen suit is spot on.
