Thanks for the suggestion on the boots.. that makes things easier.
And rather than paying for Rubicon Hueys, which I am sure are lovely kits, I ended up 3d printing some. Not as nice as Rubicon I'm sure but perfectly serviceable. My M113 are also 3d prints from Bob Mack. Which are lovely, and just about as good as a good plastic kit.
What's on your workbench?
Re: What's on your workbench?
The guy who did my 3d prints of modern tanks for Khumbahyah does M113's for about £6.50 but they have a few flaws with the smooth surfaces. I'll go with an Empress one if I splash out. Don't want the project getting too out of hand but if it ends up an Ayton game it will . I should have picked up some of the Corgi ones before they became collectors pieces.

Bloody hell, you lot are doing M113s and Hueys for Kumbayah, and I am looking for a fig to drive a Bentley!
I do have 4 hueys though and a cobra, and some m48s, so watch yourselves.

Timbo, those were the M113's I got, and with a little clean up and some stowage etc they are pretty good I thought, Certainly prefer to pay £6.50 as opposed to the £20.00 odd quid Empress wanted for one. I shall be saving my big pennies for a couple of NVA squads and perhaps an Empress Centurion or two.tim.w wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 12:10 pm The guy who did my 3d prints of modern tanks for Khumbahyah does M113's for about £6.50 but they have a few flaws with the smooth surfaces. I confess I bought the Rubicon Centurion. Here's the hueys and M113 undercoated at least.

How about a Parker. Although FAB1 was a Rolls Royce I am sure he can drive your Bentley.FreddBloggs wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 1:13 pm Bloody hell, you lot are doing M113s and Hueys for Kumbayah, and I am looking for a fig to drive a Bentley!

If I could find him in 28mm, he would be perfect.
Then I need to find the passengers to go in the back, a gent in suit and bowler hat, and a rough looking army officer with a passing resemblance to James Coburn.
A no prize if you can name them both.

Do you mean to tell me that you don't know if you are going or taking part in 2024?
Paul, I am shocked and stunned. By the way, have you had a sniff at the Reiver skirmish rules that Flags of War are bringing out? I watched a test game the other night and they look pretty good.
