This is the last Reichsarmee unit I need for the Combat of Strehla: The Pfalz Leib-Dragoner-Regiment 'Kurfurstin'. Old Glory 15s figures, with standard by Frédéric Aubert.
I now need to break off from the Reichsarmee and paint Kleist's Freikorps for the game, but once they're done I'll have 44 infantry, 12 cavalry, 4 gunners and 1 gun left to do and then I'm calling the Reichsarmee finished.

Well done Mark and Andy. Bloody nice work.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Looking at RMD's Reichsarmee cavalry, Old Glory actually do make some nice figures occasionally.
And whilst admiring the Count's green-bedecked warriors, I was reminded of a story told to me by Gungnir on another website. Apparently, the reason so much of the Russian army ended up wearing green was because one of it's agents had set up a scam whereby a couple of "random" consumers ordered a lot of green cloth from a Dutch supplier, turned up to inspect it, decided they didn't like the colour and left, leaving said Dutchman well and truly in the Scheldt (or something that sounds very similar). Who should come by soon after, but the Russian agent who was looking for a large quantity of cheap cloth.....

Work in progress for the Trojan Rampant game......

A couple of things....
1. I got kicked off Photobucket, I dont think I can embedd images using google photos like bucket did.
2. After three years I'm crap at painting, shaky hands means I'm having to go over my mess. I think my painting days are over, though having said that I'm enjoying it.
Any advice for embedding images would be appreciated.

Ta! Yeah, the SYW Austrians are definitely the best of the bunch, though they still have the weird mutant horses.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 11:43 am Looking at RMD's Reichsarmee cavalry, Old Glory actually do make some nice figures occasionally.
