One of my questions to my new (California based) employer was whether they would be comfortable working with an older white heterosexual male. They looked startled and said they had never been asked that before.

I suspect that shop windows were much bigger, they certainly are in most of Hollywoods interpretations
I love your saloon though and you could easily upscale or downscale the design for other figure sizes.

The smaller bed ones are pretty compact, not much bigger than an A3 printer but they do need to be vented and your neighbours won't thank you for it. if you are running it a lot, yes a cooler, or aircon.
CO2 lasers need a water cooling system anyway.
lcd diode ones have less power, but do not need water cooling, but are slower in consequence.
windows can be big or small, what is rare until railways is large glass panes as transporting them was a pain.

the 20mms are a commission job, 28mm one offs or short runs will likely be done for my cowboys.

I can tell you, judging from the work assembling and cladding, the carpenter in Dry Bum Gulch is a drunk and an amateur. Though perhaps not an amateur drunk...
