Invasion of Cuba 1762

I am going to the Cotswold gaming day in October I was going to put on my Louisbourg game but I wanted
to have a more fast paced game for the day.
This is from an idea by Stuart Insch from one of his books.
So as a practice I have laid out some figures and forts to see if it works.










































I am going to move the fort near the sea.

I thought that invading Cuba wasn't invented until 1961? Or was it a seasonal thing, like Pommy beach parties at Bondi?

The capture of Havana during the SYW was an attempt to gain bargaining chips / leverage in the eventual peace talks. Settlement was usually in the small change of Caribbean islands and other overseas territories; the former were valuable due to the sugar trade.....

There was another Cuban invasion in 1898.........well before 1961...

And how! In 1763, Britain seriously considered handing back "New France" (ie Canada) in exchange for a couple of fairly innocuous "spice islands".
