I intend to book my room at t'Lodge tomorrow so, barring disasters, I'll be there. Currently painting and basing more Trojans and Achaeans so that I have enough to fight Simon's enormous horde of Greeks.

In that case, you might be putting on a HC game? What space are you claiming in the Breakfast Room?

Oh, and on which day?

At the moment the plan has got as far as 'Anyone fancy a game of Hail Caesar?'.

I believe Jamie and Simon are up for it, plus maybe Paul.

I'm guessing Saturday, assuming Simon's Lace Hulk is Sunday.

Last time we had a 12' x 6' table but I assume that's not an option in the Breakfast Room, so 'as big as possible ' probably covers it. We'll have to scale the game to suit the table size.

Not very definitive I'm afraid.

I'm a no for HC as I'll only zap down for a day trip, if I can, and don't have a painted army...just a massive pile of silver horses :D

No problem Paul, although I'll probably have both a Trojan and Achaean army with me, so you are welcome to use one if you do decide to come.

It's looking like Sunday is the best day for lace hulk. It's only a half day game though so, I'll assume morning. That means people may want to find something else to do pm.

Hotel is now booked for 4 nights so all systems go. Looks like Shinies on Friday, Hail Caesar Saturday and who knows what on Sunday. I'd better check the up-to-the-minute event programme and choose my option 😂

If people are at a loose end on Sunday I could always run a Trojan War game using either Hail Caesar or my Heroic Age Lion Rampant variant, which is good fun and not too taxing.

Just back from trekking round the Welsh Marches. Very nice.

Picking up on Gary's last post, I know Tim H is looking to put on a 1/72 WWII game at some point over the weekend, but I've not had a chance to learn the details.

Simon - what table set up do you need? I believe the tables are 2'6" x 4".

And attendees, I have......

Peeler
Simon
Jamie
Gary
Tim W
Tim H
Pemps
Purps
Paul (on one day only :( )

Just to throw a spanner into the works, if those are the attending numbers, 10 plus Paul on one day, then we have reached the minimum number for the village hall. Just saying. :) :) :) :) :) :)
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.
