That's the hobby room I've always dreamed of, Willz. All it needs is the bookshelves, figure cabinet and a window for the paint booth extraction fan.

What is it? A school gym?
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

You and me both Spanner, I see the photos worked.
It is the Swordfish suite at the RNAS museum, available to rent for the weekend 60 feet x 90 feet apx.

Saturday and Sunday saw me attending The Naval Wargame society weekend at RNAS Yeovil museum playing my "Invasion of Cuba 1762". Graham from VWC came up Saturday he took the Spanish and I played the British. A well played game with the British getting ashore fairly fast but due to Graham's good tactics enabled him to defeat the British in detail. A great weekend was had by all.

I will let the photos tell the story.

I put the game on in honour of Stuart Insch.

Excellent looking game, Willz. I take it your Poms, Yarkies and hangers-on said "Sod this for a game of soldiers!" and headed back to their cruise ship?

Did the game throw up any funnies that play-testing missed?

Thanks to all for your support and kind comments.
Yes Graham and me noticed that the British needed 3 bomb ketch shots with no minuses to hit, to help them in their attack.
Also maybe a couple of corhern mortars for the landing barges again a lob over the head shot with no minuses.

The British lost as I did not follow my plan for the grenadiers to attack and capture the fort to support the naval landing party.
I made the classic wargamers error of wanting to shoot and fight, so my grenadiers attacked the Pardo militia in
a fortified position at lost gloriously ;) .
