I can’t make it due to the fact that I’ll be tucking into a nice big juicy steak at home

So it is Saturday then? I thought it was, followed by some wargame show on the Sunday.
So, Saturday night feeding, as Norman suggests, this vegan place, yeah, fine with me.

Like f***ing not. As if I'd pay money to eat some vegetable pasta meatless nosh. Get thee hence to buggery, you Satan followers.
I'll sort meself out. And then I'll have something meaty to eat.

I said I was up for giving it a go for dinner on Saturday.

Almost all of the veggie places listed seem to close circa 5pm, though.
The only place I’m seeing that advertises itself as veggie - and opens in the evenings - is “Source”.

Which claims to do veggie, and ‘slow meats’. I don’t know what the deal is there.

Anyway - who’s in for a veggie-curious dinner on Saturday?
I've just read Mr P's response to this and I think he'd prefer not to do the veggie thing. Thank you for doing the research but let us eat together in a place more to his liking?

Slow. Meats.

48-hour brisket.

I’d have thought that would have drawn him like the steam off a pie turning into a beckoning finger in a Tom & Jerry cartoon.

We can talk on the day obviously, but don't let me stop you from having a good vegan nosh. I'm very aware that when you & Andy feed at normal places you have to put up with what you would rate as second rate fodder. I don't mind splitting for feeding & meeting up again after.
I'm almost certain to find another lonely unloved retired person to talk to anyway.
