Do you know what?
I was ridiculously pleased that Simon liked his little package - or at least, was polite enough to say so.
This is all very good fun.

Whoop! Brilliant lucky dip box from Simon arrived today. Some great little projects in there. What make are the Arab spearmen? I'll get some horses for those. Love the Friar Tuck figure! Been wanting a monk for my LR armies.

Glad you like Tim. They are Essex but couldn't find the horses anywhere- I hoped you'd be able to find a way to get them mounted up

I did think they were Essex, will give them a bell see if they can sort me out. Really want to get those in the Arabesque LR retinue. Thanks again!

Ooh, just got home from a weeks holiday to find a nice surprise parcel from Whisky. Thank you Tim. Some excellent colonial stuff and some very strange looking monkey things - need to work out what to do with them. Now to pack up a similar surprise for EB - lots of fun options there!

Essex sell horses separately so just ordered six half armoured Arab mounts. That's my heavy cavalry unit for my LR army!

The leader figures are excellent too, where are they from?

You're welcome. I tailored it to a conversation about the Sudan at Ayton, thought there might be some character options for you?

Gary! My man. Well done on your selection, and many thanks.

The 18thC fellows will fit very nicely into the all new Baltic League project, and the regiment of Minifigs Highlanders will look most splendid when all shiny. The Indian scouts will be useful bargaining chips when next I have dealings with a certain Count of the North.

I'm chuffed to bits.
