Yep just gone back and looked at the windows and they are awesome. I don’t think I’ve seen glass effects painted better than this
Would you mind giving us a tutorial on how you did them ?

Yes, they are superb!

The Khurasan ones are great.Etranger wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 1:13 amTry QRF https://quickreactionforce.co.uk/produc ... i-figures/ or Khurasan http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/15 ... -creaturesZenbadger wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 12:51 am Surprisingly hard to come by in 15mm. GZG do the Kravak but they are humanoid (predator style) and the Xar which are spider centaur type things. Brigade do the Tolero which are basically Ewoks. Alternative Armies have a few ranges, dogmen, amphibians, orc types and greys. CMG Ral Partha have some as well but not really had a good look at them yet. The xoenomorphs from Alien or a good Tyranid/genestealer type alien are sadly lacking in 15mm.
Pendrakens 10mm Aliens look fine for 15mm too, i'll have to do a comparison photo!
I agree with all here though your painting is among the best I've seen in 15mm sci fi and the vehicles probably the best.

Its just the old GW technique:
paint the window black and let it dry
blutac the piece so the window is perfectly horizontal
wet the window thoroughly
dab a small spot of mid blue in the upper left quarter and leave to spread
feather out with a wet brush if necessary
put reflection lines in either the same quarter or the opposite one to taste.

The Pendraken ones seem about the right size for 15mm to me. The others look too big.
