I still reckon the shield unnecessarily dates it. I did like the suggestion to magnetism it and make the opposite side into a dartboard, or maybe an archery target?

I’m not going to let the shield stop me using it in later periods. Fortunately I don’t have those levels of anal retentiveness. And I’m certainly not going to hack it off now to please those of you who do
