Caliver & TMP

Post by vexillia »

It starts with
Dave at Cavalier Books wants me to publicly apologize for my earlier poor service remark.

Then it gets very interesting
.

What I don't understand is why the OP made a second order. :!:

Odd that Caliver gave a refund for the order they said they had sent, and not the one they were still prepping.

It sounds like one 9f those messes that get out of hand no matter which way you turn!

Dave Ryan can be a somewhat mercurial character who can take a bit of getting used to (a bit like Mike Hickling from AB), but I've always got on well with him (and Mike). This whole episode seems very, very strange.

I have always got on well with Dave Ryan. But that may have been because he was one of my dads students at Library School.

Only spoken with him a few times, at shows, but always seemed OK. Got the impression that he maybe doesn't tolerate fools well. And tbf, the customer in that spat got on my nerves a bit too.

Yeah, if you act like a dick Dave will treat you as such. I have known him since he was dahn sarfend and worked for him occasionally and this guy must really have got on his wick to elicit such a response.

They're both being a bit "dickish" but Dave has a business to run and should probably rein it in a bit for that reason. :(
