Goodness indeed, those are possibly the most useful wargames books ever.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Ordered a bunch of custom-made acrylic tokens from Warbases - a set of five turning circles (2", 2.5", 3", 3.5" and 4") and a set of 10 "evade" (zig-zag) markers, all for Coastal Patrol.

Funnily enough, I'm in a sort of buying hiatus. I really want to finish off some stuff, and I don't feel the urge to buy anything in particular. I had a close shave with the Eureka Revolutionary War Savoyards, but then looked at the pricing... And I would have had to build some opponents as well.. And some new terrain.

So doubtless at some point I will throw caution to the winds and purchase 100 daleks or something equally bizarre.

Well you can't have the ones I put on Ebay. After languishing unloved for a few weeks somebody finally bought them.

Of course, just after they sold Wargames Illustrated announced that the next edition will include a Daleks based scenario for Stargrave.

Such is life.

Managed to grab a nice quality hardcover first edition of The War Game for £14 which was a bargain, id happily have paid 2 or 3 times that price

Bundled in was a copy of Terry Wise's introduction to battlegaming which I've already got. This copy has no dustcover and has some marks but it's perfectly readable. I'll happily pop it in the post to any of the lovely folks on this forum if you'd like it - preferably UK based to keep the postage manageable ! First come first served !
