I'll need a green uniformed officer so that I can say "Have that yer bastard" in a Yorkshire accent every turn.

How nice, so Brian Blessed.

Sharpe has a distinct Sheffield accent.

Not bought exactly - a free 15 draw Bisley cabinet. :) :) 8)

I went to watch Warrington Town play Whitby Town and at half time noticed that the club shop had thrown out said cabinet. The shop had been refitted and it was going to be left outside to rot.

I asked if I could have it and they said yes. All I had to do was get it home. I'd had a couple of pints so the car was not an option. What to do? I called my wife and she walked to the ground with the frame from her shopping trolley. At full time we pushed it all the way home! What a sight we must have been.

It's all cleaned up now. It's in decent shape.

That's a good result. Instead of calling the missus, couldn't you have just asked the rest of the crowd to help you? Two more blokes would have made light work of it.

well it was listed as 2020 due from Helion, so it might be worth an email to check there is not an issue and everyone else is not using a placeholder.
I got an email back from Helion, they have confirmed that the book has been cancelled. Which is a real shame.

Ah well...
