Excellent work, IOS. Interesting that the RSG appear to have started beating their swords into ploughshares whilst continuing to use them as swords....

Excellent
Re: What's on your workbench?
Been digging in the shed today to upcycle some 1/72 WWII. I'm building some small armies to use with 1 hour wargames. Got plenty of tanks all painted just need to get the infantry done. Mostly using Foundry 20mm which are great, on a par with AB I think and match up very well. Have some AB's mixed in and will fill support gaps with PSC. Just discovered AB do Soviets now so that might be a payday treat next week. Also have some very nice Italeri buildings from Hotel which will be ideal. The long game is to chuck a 3x3 mat down on the living room foor when I can for a quick game. I've given up hope for a clean table.

Are you going to base your Infantry on a single large base?
Re: What's on your workbench?
Empress ECW cavalry, Bicorne ECW Dragoons and SteelFist Miniatures Gendarmes
Re: What's on your workbench?
No, 8 figs to x3 40x40mm bases as the basic unit. An army will be x3 basic infantry units plus command stand that I'll probably make rules for to stop units straying off. Also a specialist unit of support or veterans. My Americans have a bazooka unit that will have a +1 against tanks and the Germans have a veteran unit dressed in campaign gear that will take more hits.Ilkley Old School wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 5:10 pm Are you going to base your Infantry on a single large base?
