Crinckle cut dodecagons, you know it makes sense.
Re: What's on your workbench?
I've finally got round to de-bagging the Crann Tara figures I bought after Ayton. Some lovely poses, particularly liked the NCO in his 'dressing the line' pose. Enough officers left for a brigade command though I think I'd prefer a mounted figure then a mounted and a couple of unmounted junior officers in a vignette for the CinC so they'll still get used.

That's a good start.
You've been talking to Peeler about basing though, haven't you?

I prefer Gary's basing but I want them to be DbSYW-able. I may even go part 80mm and two 40x40's.Count Belisarius wrote: ↑Sat May 14, 2022 2:04 pm That's a good start.

Base them like everyone else on 15mm frontage. Help us make Peeler feel like the basing outcast he is...

Another vote for 15mm frontage. I originally had mine based in 20mm frontage but with the more elegant Crann Tara and Minden figures they looked too spaced out.
If you do go with 80mm bases you could put 10 figures on each base.

But my basing is going to be 12 foot on an 80x40 & 6 mounted on an 80x60. Guns on an 80x80.
So there.

I'm sure next Ayton you'll turn up with a battalion based on a single 300x50mm base...
