Tim, I can bring a desert mat and a Sicily mat. I can also bring cacti areas, hills, trees, roads, desert scrub and other scatter terrain
I’ll also bring a selection of civilians, might be useful for scenarios.
Jeremy, the mats and civvies and scatter terrain will be great. You are a star as ever. I think there are enough suitable trees. Most of the settings will be deserty, but the Sicily mat sounds interesting..

I have a lot of desert mats, if you don't mind orange rather than white sands
I'll sling em in in case they're needed.
I was going to start work on an making a small archaeological site today as well if that's still wanted?
Paul, all mats gratefully received. I also have some bits that could be added to a "Historical" site and I'll be bringing those as well Thanks bud..

A cheap and cheerful way to make water mats is to nip down the local carpet and floor sales room. Check out either lino or floor tiles, blue colour is best but not essential. Paint the lino / floor tiles blue / dirty harbour water colour. When dry paint over several coats of gloss yacht varnish.
I made flooded areas for a Normandy game using old light brown floor tiles, done by this method.
Willz.
Not a half bad idea Will, I'll have a scout round.

I have some boards painted glossy dark blue for water.
There's probably a way they could provide a harbour for a game.
