Is that the one you tried to pass off as 28mm last year ?

Grizz, Yes, it's plastic & comes ready built, all from AIP I think.
Goat, it's the one I was going to use. But didn't.

If its the same F.E. Perry I think he was a banking guru too. Don't try and puzzle out the rules, I think they only ever made sense to the author. We Tim's always assumed he was a bit eccentric to say the least but the whole idea is brilliant and the books are great.

Well I suppose it would give me a reason to paint my Airfix Brits and Paras. Need to source an Opfor for solo play.

Right them young Tim, this is on your head. I've just ordered the WWI Indian Army pack from here https://www.kitlady.co.uk/online-store/ ... -c27850036
The website is a bit of a slog, it's worth sorting the list to show the stuff they have in stock first otherwise you get all excited about French Foreign Legion stuff only to find they haven't got any.
Now I'll have to go to Irregular for gun crews as the set I've bought has 2 guns but no crews.

Ye Gods, an Irregular gun crew would cost the same as the set I bought. Maybe I'll look out for some Airfix figures to convert.

General concensus on 54mm, then?

And when you say ‘units of 6-12’, how many units?

I'm hoping it won't be too many, we don't need another arms race.
My Indian force will consist of 20 infantry, 5 cavalry and 1 gun.

I have a cunning plan for gun crew, Airfix Japanese with the knee mortar. Lose the mortar, swap the head, job done. Anyone want a spare screw gun?
