Just for a change, Tim and I will be doing a shiny game all day Friday. Anyone who isn't sick to death of our rules is welcome to join in.

We've decided that the Burt and Hall shiny game at the Lodge on Friday will be 42mm stuff. That's about C1900 ish.

Please let me know if you'd like to play and, if so, what toys you can contribute. And, I suppose, if you'd like to play all day or just the morning or afternoon.

Just at the moment, not that great. Usual issues caused by the cancer surgery plus at the moment I have a viral infection in my ear, the drugs for which preclude any alcohol for the next 4 weeks.

Otherwise, life is good

You poor sod, on all counts!

I hope the new home is at least bringing you joy?

Erm, not really. Lost our buyer for Valley Farm so the new home is relegated to an expensive occasional holiday home.

Just waiting for games room to burn down so I can officially declare I'm as miserable as Andy.

That all sounds a tad annoying. Hope things improve soon. Four week of no alcohol. Jesus H...

And I'll have you know I'm feeling quite cheerful today!

Nah. Just kiddin'....
