They are very nice. However, that right fist leading the right leg makes me think they're all about to break into the Twist. So there you go, their officer is Colonel Chubby Checker . . . .

Oh yes, my mistake.

Not the Palace Guard, it's the Palace Players Amdram and Dance Group.

Easy mistake. The uniforms are so similar.

Rather gutted to announce that I'm afraid I'll not be able to make it after all... Nefarious circumstances both physical, financial and emotional have conspired to scupper my plans... Sorry to let Tim down but the forces of Altefritzenburg and the famed Savage Swans will not be marching...

:(

Sorry to hear you're not going to attend. I hope all the various obstacles sort themselves out.

That's a hell of a shame.
Of course you could sell the Swans to Iain and buy them back next year.

Sorry you can't make it Andy. Buff's idea is a good one - you might even make enough profit from the transaction to fund next year's trip!

Feeling a tad glum that Andy and Dave won't be able to join us at Fram, but real life as always takes precedence. I did contemplate cancelling, but people have booked and probably paid for accommodation, and I would lose the deposit on the room. So in true Ayton stalwart fashion we will go ahead, I shall consult with Simon very soon, as orbats might have to be revised etc, but be assured there are still plenty of troops to take to the field of battle. I hope that's okay with you all.
