Problem is that it's the period between 6 and 9 when I should be showering, doing stump exercises, talking to people in Chile and Canada, and then opening my email in preparation for the day's work.

You can sword-fight cultists in the shower.
I do it all the time.
Also, just read out your mail in a Germanic accent and get bonus XPs for being in character.

Do you stab the Monstrous Sponge repeatedly with your pork sword?

It's his pork sword and he can keep it as clean as he likes.

how Would you deal with a gelatinous cube in the shower?
I imagine the only way to tackle it would be nakedly.

By the way I have zero experience role playing. Does that matter?

Isn’t tackling everything naked always your first option?

Fear not Purps, we will be gentle with you. I haven’t DM’d in 20 years so it’s much the same. I’d say just be yourself, but do we really want that?
