16 of the 24 games up for VL5. Here's mine:
June 1942, A secret bunker somewhere under the Black Forest. Hitler prepares for Operation Barbarossa, but his Super Soldier System has encountered problems. Although his genetically mutated soldiers are unbeatable, they require extreme quantities of nutritious food to maintain their systems. Quantities, which on the field of battle, are not feasible to maintain. His scientists mention a ‘super food’, something called ‘Black Pudding’ which comes from a little town in the North West of England. Could this be the solution? The Reich focuses its gaze on Bury, Lancashire.
Erwin Rommel himself comes up with the plan. Elements of Germany's 1st Parachute Division will land near Ewood Bridge, pushing through Ramsbottom and onto Bury. There, they will kidnap Mary Heywood, Chief Food Scientist at the Bury Black Pudding Company (and Home Economics Teacher at Bury Grammar).
Will Hitler succeed, thus ensuring Russia is smashed and the War won early? Or will the Brave Men and Women of Bury triumph, again showing the world what the North of England is made of?

Are you going to allow the locals to employ "Ecky Thump" in fisticuffs?

Cheers! Virtual games are tricky as you can’t load the table with terrain, otherwise players can’t see stuff. But equally, empty tables look a bit shit and make for a bloody game
