Amris was in the zone all night.
That scenario is way better than ‘a day at the trials’ - far more decision making for the players.

There’s generally 6-8 plots in all these scenarios. How many you choose to follow is up to you. This one certainly wasn’t combat heavy - not sure about the next one either. Will start putting it together this week

We didnt get much decision-making in ‘trials’, though.
‘You’re to stay at the Gravine’s lodgings’
I guess that’s where we’re going then.
‘The Gravine wishes you to turn in for the night’.
Well, I suppose...
‘The Gravine instructs that you go to inspect the arena.’
So off we trot.
And having got there, the fake assassination, subsequent arrest, ghost attack, guard sacrifice, demon appearance, and jailbreak play out in sequence whether the party runs around engaging with them or just sits and watches.
Opera, in contrast, is up there with ‘three Feathers’, which is praise indeed.

Yeah, to a point. But just because the Gravin says something, there’s no reason why you can’t nod in agreement and do something when she’s not looking. I’m still trying master the GM art of the sandbox so you can do whatever you like. It’s not easy! I made a conscious effort to do that yesterday and I wasn’t able to do it at the trial.

Just thought...
I promised Rechtshandler that Bendy could make the end quick and painless for him.
What if he’d taken us up on it and the elf had just rolled fumble after fumble?
Writhing and screaming in an alleyway while Bendy smashed clumsily at his face with a cobblestone, slipping in the blood and shouting “WHY WON’T YOU DIE!”
That’s probably how it would have happened.
I should not make those kind of promises...

Or fumbled and punched all Ferdy’s teeth out so he can no longer mumble incantations?

I trust it’s going to be an all-nighter, yes?

I’m up for that.
As long as we don’t have to buy a present.
