Yep, we have friends that run a lion sanctuary in SA. And the last time we did a trip up to the border we had a couple of younger males take an unhealthy interest in the Landcruiser. When we did a stay at Tau some years back, it was noticeable that the Saffers thought open topped vehicles to be unnatural & terrifying, whereas the tourists didn't know any better.
With She's job, we also got to spend time at Mogo in Oz, with the white lions.

Finished the first of my elephants off for the Pointy Sticks project. One of the Victrix plastics ones, it was a joy to paint.
