From the few bits of Macedonian armour we have, and descriptions, there is evidence for them being painted, so they are Historically fine. They are on a Sabot base so separate out easily, so I am waiting to get all 48 done, then transfer them together.

Iain would like to hear about the evidence for the length of the pikes, and how they used to fight with them. He's got some theories of his own on this of course....

Note, shield transfers now applied (pic of the whole unit when I finish the transfers job).
