WHAT time do people want to be in the Hall to set up on the Friday? 3pm, 4pm? We're feeding at 7 remember.
18:00.

Think we’ll be there around 4pm. If earlier, we’ll grab a pint in the pub like we did last time and wait for the hall to open

You won't have long to set up, we're booked in for feeding at 7.

Being a clever arse, I've got nothing to set up. I'm only getting there at 18:00 so I can be all smug and shitty for an hour before the pub. In fact, I might just pop in for a swift gloat and then bugger off.

Is the "swift goat" compulsory? I only ask as I'm not a big fan of some of these bucolic customs.

It is a terrible custom, where the swift yorkshire is slowed down by fitting it with essex white stilettos.

Can't have that we'd be up to our necks in "gloaters".

Bloated goats don't gloat.
I'll be in the Hall for say quarter to four then, setting up tables, clearing out the corpses, etc.
