Nice Blitz Tim. I can't find any excuse to use softskins in Chain of Command, unless they are posed as jump off points. But that's a very tempting model. Does it come with a driver?

Oh yes, driver and his mate. The instructions recommend making your own windscreen and I thought about it but way too much faff for me. The decals are extensive and you can build open top or covered. If I wasn't already using it to trundle troops and support weapons about I'd make it into and ambulance.

Thanks Tim. Just assembling the Rubicon Pz III tonight, almost done, just need to replace the turret grab handles. My only criticism is that they have a ton of decal options but don't include examples. I suppose it's easy enough to find period pictures, but mildly irritating.

I think you'll find it's Frogruary. :finger:
They're fighting in France. Actually I've got some poilu to finish off too.

Yes, you definately need to do some research. I couldnt find anything in my books for the Normandy colours for you. I'm now trying to work out the best colour for the canvas cover over the blitz.

Good start to the year 😁

I've been looking through all the ranges of 28mm greatcoated Gerries and its surprising how incomplete a lot are. Crusader have a standard format for each range of rifles, smg's, lmg's hmg's, mortar and command. I think I can fill the gaps of anti-tank weapons etc in Greatcoats from Artizan but there's limited choice elsewhere without going full winter garb and late war.

Well, my PzIII is the early model, I have built it as an E, so I can use it with my Blitzkrieg forces in Poland and France - so it will be grey all over (yes I know it should be brown and grey, but in my mind, all early war German tanks are grey) :)

I do need to figure out formation signs, balkankreuz & lettering style etc,

Bad start to the year. Three different tubes of Loctite superglue - one conventional, one "gel pen" and one microscopically tiny bottle with brush applicator - all promising prolonged life on the packaging. All used just once within the last 12 months (see my AWI Highlanders "Gallery" post), All now rock solid on second time of use.
