if this forum combines its AWI into one big game, there will be more figures than men who actually fought in it. Saratoga at 3:1 scale!

Your 10mm can represent the troops furthest way. My 15mm the middle lines and the 28mm the stuff in the front. If anyone has 40mm they can be in close combat. We can photograph the whole thing as a homage to classic Miniature Wargames covers...

Frosty at one end of a big table, temperate stuff in the middle, and maybe even jungle at the other end. Towns, fortresses, ruined cities, forests, you name it.
Basically an on-table continent, plus seas and islands, looking a bit like one of those kingdom-building epic computer games. Nice simple Dragon Rampant (or similar rules), alliances, treachery, invasions, etc. Oooh yes.
