In about 50 years time they'll get an update though, and everyone will be using cheque books.

Can we have a list of the barter rates, please? And if we pay in shiny beads, how shiny do they have to be?

Should we bring a couple of kilos of salt and some shiny buttons?

Stop it, all of you! We've only recently gone decimal round here parts.
The Hall is £450(!) subsidized by £50 by the scarecrow gang who are using the side annex, so £400-£20 from Alex & Mark doing only the Saturday, £380 dived by however many turn up, should be 16 if everyone makes it there alive, is £24 each, I think that's right.
Oh yes, cash for that as well please. No dead parrots or bundles of sticks in part payment either. We've got lots already.
I'll bring tea coffee etc, I'm thinking no need for a tuck shop as there's Spar nearby, buy it on the way past, I always get left with loads afterwards & I'm not meant to be eating it these days.
I think that's it all covered.
Oh, no provision made for any charity donation that we usually do, decide amongst yonselves if you want to do one.

I think we've touched a nerve there.

Just thought, £24 each is a ballache fir change, so I'll scam you up to £25 each, I'll supply the tea & coffee. Don't drink too much of it though

Why don't we all chip in £30 each and we can buy the lordship of the manor and just own the village outright.
