I love contrast paints. I enjoy painting with them, which is huge.

Always paint for yourself and not for the opinions of others. If they look good on the battlefield then you have done the job well. I like neat, that's good, I hate sloppy paintwork, but I don't crave the highlighting and shading that some painters seem to think is essential. Paint the unit not the man.
