Thanks! We will be using Black Powder for our games, finding it a very obliging set easily tweaked.

working from home it's easy to do the mindless tasks when you are in Planning sessions... So my planning included a hot-glue gun, Wills Pantile sheets and some extremely cheap MDF 'boxes.

My 'cunning' plan is that the tile roofs are removable, so they can be tiled or flat roofed, depending on whether it's India, Mexico, Sicily, or the Peninsula. I don't have enough storage space for highly specialised terrain, so loads of stuff will do double duty, with a couple of specialised pieces to really set the location. A Fort & Residence for the Mutiny, A Windmill and Tower for the Peninsula, and I think I might try Vineyards and an Italianate Church for Sicily/Southern Italy.

Did any other dads on here just look at that and think: "Baby's changing table."?

The garage floor has been transformed into a workbench as I'm trying to make a caulk mat for Pony wars and Crusades

At your age you want a better quality kneeling mat. Take it from someone who learnt that lesson.

Redoubt Trojan Wars range.
I am currently considering whether I should swap to another range.
After having these for many, many years and finally getting around to them I can't believe how awful the casting is!
I know others have had problems with miscasts etc... but what i'm seeing is every figure has a halo of flash and mould lines that has to be cut and filed off...life might be too short for this sh*t!

Maybe a quick call to the local scrap metal dealer?
