I agree, especially as I am working my way through painting a platoon of winter Germans... and they could easily be mixed in with their yanks in greatcoats for variety and ease of painting. Will have to wait till my new contract actually pays me some money though

Despite my best intentions to keep the 1745 project to a manageable size, I am conscious that solitary groups that can't operate in formation in Sharp Practice is a 'bad thing' - so I am going to have to order some more Government Highlanders and Scots Fusiliers. Of course, this will mean that I need to order some more Jacobites to keep the forces balanced*.
*It is starting to feel like trying to cut just enough off a table leg to keep the thing square.

I avoided this like the plague, as the crann tara WAS figures would have led me down a rabbit hole., same as minden SYW ones would have.

I have it on good authority that the figures are taken from a set of watercolours of Parisian street vendors by a chap named - rather appropriately - Bouchardon. I intend to get at least one pack of each set just for my one-size-fits-all AWI baggage train/camp followers project.
