DougM:
Here's the hueys and M113 undercoated at least.
They look pretty good, mate. The UH-1B's could also be fitted out as Bushrangers, if you wanted to add an extra layer of nastiness.
Tim.W:
Don't want the project getting too out of hand
And what wargames project do you know of that never got out of hand, mate? I bet you could count them on the fingers of your tongue.

God I hate hussars... That's the last of 72 Prussian hussars done for Saturday's Kolin refight (plus some Austrian guns and generals):

Very nice, Mark. You have to admit, though, that all those hussars fighting on Austrian right do look good.

Do you mean to tell me that you don't know if you are going or taking part in 2024?
Unfortunately real life is making it increasingly difficult to plan so far ahead and anything other than an "awayday" looks difficult in the future. That said I do always look at the worst case scenario (something to do with years of undertaking risk assessments? :D ) so things might work out fine.
Tim Hall wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 10:49 pmBy the way, have you had a sniff at the Reiver skirmish rules that Flags of War are bringing out? I watched a test game the other night and they look pretty good.
I had heard of but forgotten about those rules so i'm going to have a look at a run through on you tube.
It does seem a bit card and token heavy at first glance and you have to buy add ons neither of which i'm ecstatic about. (Although there is a very limited amount of tokens in the FIW rules i'm writing so i'm a bit of a hypocrite :D )

Yes, absolutely the LAST! :hair: :uzi: :2guns:

Apart from the Kleist-Frei-Hussars, obvs...

And I still need to finish another 12 of the 8th ('Red') Hussars...

And I haven't got any black-uniformed hussar regiments which are rather iconic, so I'm obviously going to need at least 12 of the the 5th Hussars...

And those Swedish 'Blue' Hussars still need painting...

Oh and the French 'Turpin' Hussars...

I'll post some pics on Friday night, once it's all set up.
