FreddBloggs, I got me copy of British Armour in the Normandy Campaign 1944 on Thursday. Thanks for the rec', as it's a brilliant book. I should have moved meself and bought it back in '05. The fact that the US was pushing the British to abandon tank production, and just buy Shermans, was new to me and a bit of a surprise.

It is a cracker. His others and Ben Kites Stout Hearts really give a fuller piture of Normandy and onwards for the Anglo British forces.

I would love to find similar quality on the American side.

A dire effort on painting so far this year. I didn't even paint the gun, got it from Andy Grubb's bits box for £2 at Vappa. I only got this finished as the hyper toddler had a rare nap after being up since 5am.

Nice gun and basing
