Luckily my take on the Early medieval period for wargaming purposes at least is pretty fluid. It's all playing with toy soldiers after all

All trains were cancelled here today in Drakefordistan, so it was a perfect day for painting tartan without incurring delays to trains... So that's 87th (Keith's) Highlanders finished.
However, I've got the 88th (Campbell's) to do on Monday night, so it would be best to avoid rail travel until at least Wednesday.
