It's a good tip for seasonal variation.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in

This week I've mostly been swearing at long-dead French and East German model manufacturers from the 1970s...

Heller 1/100th Pumas, Entex 1/100th OH-59 Kiowa, Nubee Mi-1 'Hare' and Revell C-160 Transall... All utterly shite kits! Would just ONE locating-lug be too much to ask?!

:hair: :kill: :sniper: :uzi: :2guns: :purps: :stupid: :cowboy:

Yeah, but it was the 1970s, Mark - if there had been a locating lug it would have been just out of line.

Very profound and very true. Doubly so if they were 'Friday Afternoon' kits built by communists in Birmingham...

The feckin' OH-58 only has a stupid clear blue upper cockpit canopy, while the lower cockpit windows and the side cabin windows are moulded into the green plastic. The windows will therefore need to be painted in, but no massive dramas - here's a Canadian one I did earlier from the same bloody awful kit:

Note that I've added a spare minigun from a Flames of War M113 APC kit and the US Army one has got a spare rocket pod from a Flames of War Cobra kit.

He's perfected that through years of drinking Welsh beer. :buddies:
