I have promised my other half that at some point we would visit Framlingham and see all the locations where Detectorists TV series was filmed (we're massive fans). So perhaps I could join in the game on Day One, and evening beers (I gather that's what you do), and then I would skip day 2, and do my tourist thing wiv me missus.
Happy to lend you some of my shinies if you have a need.

Oooh... Yes please Ian. I don't have any shinies. What are the general force sizes contributed by people? I might manage a contingent by then, but ...

Well I suppose ten to twelve units would be a decent size force. Units are: six figures for cavalry, twelve for infantry, one gun or one machine gun and crew. The numbers include all ranks and musicians.

The rules are A Gentleman's War.

Thx Iain.
I've got a full painting schedule till September, then it becomes a bit more fluid. However, I suspect getting those sorts of numbers ready in 6 weeks might be stretching it. I might manage a token force, so any troops on a lend-lease would be good. Meantime, it can't do any harm to peruse the STS list on the SSM site can it?!

We’ll probably have plenty of figures to go round so you wouldn’t need to paint stuff but if you want to then that would be great too

Peruse away.

I try not to do so after returning from the pub in any sort of condition to remember my PayPal log in.
