Zenbadger's 15mm Sci Fi Stuff

Post by Zenbadger »

Here are the first few paints of my 15mm Sci Fi project. I painted these before but wasn't entirely happy with them so into the dettol they went. Happy now and more importantly I have written down what paints I have used so I can come back to this later.

Firstly the Colonial Defence Volunteers, fighting corporate encroachment and defending Anglospace planets from incursions by the Federation. (GZG New Anglians)

Image

And their main adversaries, the Federation Navy, bringing the frontier planets back into the light of civilization and the benefits of corporate funding. (GZG Brethren of the Light)

Image

Vehicles, buildings and British Royal Spacefleet Marines are on the painting table right now.

Eh? If you mean the visors on the guys in green, I never know what to do with a blank visor so this time I painted a face on it and then gave it a couple of dark brown washes. I used to do a similar thing in green but I think a brown tint is more plausible.

I thought you'd done something like that. I'm impressed. It looks very effective.
