Wild Life?

Just been watching a pigeon on the bird table, being stalked by a squirrel which was being dive-bombed by sparrows - it’s like a frigging jungle out there man!

So I wondered, dId anyone ever do a set of rules for nature’s little battles? Not the usual highly suspect anthropological ‘furries’ stuff but the genuine little skirmishes that go on in the back garden. The fights over the bird table, the suspended feeder, the nesting box - my gods there’s a water bowl, grab it quick! Perhaps replace ‘SAN’ points with ‘nervousness’ for morale effect? 🐝 as a horde?
Game ends when the human steps out the back door. Or does it

28mm is too small, maybe 1/12th would work for models - garden centres could be the new model shops :D

Not quite what you’re after, but Burrows and Badgers is along those lines

The sad tale of a man who’s got or done every wargame period and is teetering on the edge...
Where next? Bacterial warfare?

And even sadder is, he’ll probably remodel his own garden at 1:1 scale because the real one doesn’t match up to expectations. And he’ll be right

Didn’t that used to be Purps moniker on the old Forum?

The miniatures are sweet but it’s too fantasy. I need real wild life (man). Although, a ‘bottom of the garden’ fantasy section might be amusing.

I’m thinking different plants as ‘loot’ points with shock ‘weedkiller’ results on a 1 die roll. And a cat as the equivalent of a Tiger Tank 8-)

Ignore the minis, it has rules for garden gnomes and squirrels etc, it is a 1 to 1 scale garden game at its core.
