Purples Pomeranian Klein Krieg

Apelsin, odious Russian Colonel is roaming around Pomerania with his motley scouting force when in the distance he spies a large windmill and wonders if he can score some free grain...
He points his column towards it, not realising that quite by chance a Prussian Kapitan is out exercising his troops... whoops.
As usual practice, some of his allied Grenzer scout ahead under the command of Lieutenant Jeremy...
Who was quickly followed by some newly raised conscripts led by Major Putitin
Who are further ‘encouraged’ on by Corporal
Things get serious when from around the woods appear some Prussian Grenadiers, mitres glinting, marching steadily forward
The Prussians keep on coming, faster than the Croats expected...
Jeremy orders his men to fire and somehow only one ball finds its mark
Whoops! A Random event draw rolls badly as Jeremy’s Croats, strangely buoyant charge forward straight at the Prussian ranks! .....
....Who wipe them out to a man and kill Jeremy. Nobody in the Russian force seems bothered.
Soon More Prussians start marching down the road, the Freikorps of Kapitan Klunje.
Apelsin is miffed and sends forward another group of Grenzer, who set themselves up in the woods facing the prussians and fire off a few shots at the Grenadiers.
Disaster! One shot finds its mark in the leg of the Prussian Commander Perplzollen!
Apelsin sees his opportunity with the Grenadiers temporarily halted and comes on himself leading his musketeers
They immediately form line and start delivering formidable volleys on the enemy
Four are killed instantly from a group of Jägers moving up and their officer - Klunt is hit and knocked down, causing a large dent in Prussian morale
Klunge quickly deploys his militia into line as Major Putitins flanking conscripts do the same...
The two groups get locked in uncontrolled fire, doing little but shock to each other.
Fire continues on all fronts ...
... Before play is interrupted by some sort of giant monster
The Prussians start having serious problems as Apelsins huge musketeer unit keeps whittling down the grenadiers, whilst stray shots keep hitting the flank and rear of the Freikorps and Jäger.
Perplzollen now up but limping, urges his Grenadiers to close and put the Russians to the bayonet but the withering fire causes them to move slowly.
Suddenly, the Russians charge and almost kill the Grenadiers to a man. Perplzollen is wounded a second time in the defence and captured as the rest of the Prussian army break away.
Apelsin has his grain.
Solo Sharp Practice.
