From the photos it looks a bit like the equivalent of not touching up the mis-matched edges of paper flags.
That said, it really does look an absolutely spiffing game!

Thanks - it was a serious question as I've often wondered why it was specifically fly/bug spray and not "for wiping out annoying (and potentially lethal) multi-legged arthropods".

Was playing with "front-and-back" flats (as opposed to the "side-to-side" version used in dioramas) a wee bit weird? I have to say, it actually looks like a good game, but - and this sounds a bit odd and hard to explain - I'm not sure how I'd cope with using them.

Splendid efforts, Kerry and Paul; I would echo the call for some close-ups of those mediaeval walls, Dr VB. And there is something about a Venetian cityscape that appeals enormously, but I can't bring myself to assemble all that laser-cut MDF.....
