Re: Lace Hulk: New Info for players

Brilliant...although I suspect this is the result of having too much time on your hands. It does push the bar up for the rest of us doing games though :D I have also decided that I hate the figures I have in my merry band (size mismatch of Crann tara, North Star, Stronghold and Silver Bayonet) for t...

Re: Ayton 3-5th May 2024 feeding, please make your choices ....

I would like the cheese board as well but for the life of me cant find which menu its on?!? I think? This was a joke reference to Henry's attempt to order some cheese and biscuits at the forge and after some very confused looks on their part they offered a pack of mini cheddars :D .....but I need a...

Re: F/S Citadel OOP High Elves, Spearmen, White Lions, Pheonix Guard and Swordmasters

Neither of these two listings are current mate. No they're not, they are Sold listings that have finished in the past week. Which was kind of my reason for showing them. You can't value things by looking at what people are asking, just what they've sold for. :) The first is twenty unpainted Metal S...

Re: F/S Citadel OOP High Elves, Spearmen, White Lions, Pheonix Guard and Swordmasters

I did not bid on any of them- something I do not believe in- but bought them at "Buy it Now". If you PM me, I can send you copies of the Paypal receipts? In fact I'm willing to do that for anyone. I don't doubt your word at all.....it's the Buy it Now purchase that has inflated the price ...

Re: F/S Citadel OOP High Elves, Spearmen, White Lions, Pheonix Guard and Swordmasters

You might have bought them at the height of their value! I don't know about the others but when I checked out the metal swordmasters a couple of weeks ago (I found a couple in my odds and ends box) they were selling for around £40-£50 for a regiment of twenty :(

Re: A small SYW action

I bought it in 2016 from Cran Tara when Graham owned them at Carronade. It's by Westfalia as Paul says. It was really fiddly to assemble and Phil painted it for me. Did you research coach colours for the period or go with something that you felt looked right? I have one in my C18th pile and might g...

It's the Westfalia forge one.
It was available from Crann Tara, I'm not sure if it still is now they're owned by Caliver.
[EDIT: Yes it is. https://cranntaraminiatures.co.uk/produ ... ury-coach/ ]

Re: Advice from resin gurus on Uncured Resin problem!

I don't think it does. Is it a small repairable patch? In the past I have dug out the sticky bit with a scalpel and rebuilt with milliput (greenstuff didn't stick) but if it is a slab with essentially a liquid core it won't be worth it. It's one of the Brigade Models pieces.....a Passenger module f...
