Taking JRII for a trot again
Here's a thumbnail of a map for a Johnny Reb II game I'm planning with Bill G, an old RAEME mate. His Yanks (Bartlett's brigade plus some hangers on) want to stop a division from Ewell's Corps (they're mine) from taking the bridge and hamlet, then installing a fast food place. I didn't know you'd been watching my last game! You should have said something- as long as it wasn't "You don't want to roll a....".BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 8:54 am

Re: Base ID
Good points, Donald. The unit uniforms/clothing are enough to distinguish one unit from another in most of the forces, apart from my ACW stuff. With them I paint the bottom of the bases in the brigade's colour and write in the info'. Not as convenient, but it seems to work.

Hussars, mate. Civvies wouldn't have 'em.
Nice work, Andy. Nothing represents a horse in miniature as well as a nicely painted bay.

Re: The Battle of 'Wanneminden' 1759
That was quite a battle, Mark. I noticed a lot of units getting blooded for the first time- but doing well. I take it that Mr Sackville will not be getting any decorations for his part in the battle?

Re: Dunoon - ECW game
Our group is working hard to prepare for our demo Show game in July. unoon1.jpg[/img] "Galloper" cavalry is King Charles' elite. Now that's one sort of hard work I wouldn't moan about, Donald. Looks like a good game. Note to self- NO ECW! NO ECW! NO ECW! Finish what you have, Stupid!
