Re: Some SYW Additions: British Cavalry & More Swiss

Wonderful units! :-) Wish I had the time and energy to do some British cavalry standards - but hopefully I will eventually...

Cheers,

David.

Re: Some new Spencer Smiths

A good looking unit, Willz. :-) Reminds me I have a few of the Charles VI-Maria Theresa flags still to do, including one that seems to be a so-called Hungarian flag although the Triomphes Louis XV depicts the field in blue, not green!

Cheers,

David.

Re: SYW French on the march

A wonderful army! :-) Do I spot some Not By Appoointment flags in there? The shading on some looks familar. May I nit-pick slightly and point out that on image fa11 the central flags (of La Sarre, I think) have the colonel's flag upside down, as the shading suggests!

Cheers,

David.

Glad to hear you have sorted the printer problem, Willz, and look forward to seeing your splendid troops with the "correct" flags. Ha! :-)

It's beautiful work, anyway, regardless of what the flags might say! :-)

Very nicely done. Is the central figure General Wolfe, with the mourning band for his father on his arm?

Splendid work, Willz. :-) (I plan to do Royal Ecossais flags at some point...)

The biggest - only - issue is if you can live with the trade-off between historical detail & simplicity.
Let me know how you go.

Thanks, Donald. Yes, will do.

Re: Play testing game for PAW and Kenilworth

Nice work, Willz. (Reminds me I must do the flags of Royal Ecossais sometime soon too! :-)) (Those khaki mountains in the background are a bit threatening though! ;-))

Cheers,
David.
