And I can see why!
Splendid fellows. Is that a 'proper' 3D gun?

Re: Shed Game - AWI 18mm WoFun
Same here. I have seen it done and I'm not convinced. Understood. I haven't seen them here, just in photos. They look like they have nicely detailed fronts and backs, but the translucent sides jar. It may be different if I see the actual figures. That's a good point. WoFun 'flats' are far from phot...

Re: On to Richmond...
I've had another look. What make are the figures please? They look very cute. I'm tempted to guess Dixon. E They are almost entirely Dixon Miniatures, bar a battery of Foundry Union Artillery in Hardee hats, two Old Glory NCOs, one 1st Corps officer and regiment of Sash & Sabre infantry and ano...

Re: Shed Game - AWI 18mm WoFun
It looks good, but fully painted 18mm 3D figures would look better :D I understand the desire to be able to play games immediately without the drag of having to paint armies but it comes at an aesthetic cost. It is, however, much better than buying armies and leaving them unpainted in their boxes/b...

Re: Shed Game - AWI 18mm WoFun
Was playing with "front-and-back" flats (as opposed to the "side-to-side" version used in dioramas) a wee bit weird? I have to say, it actually looks like a good game, but - and this sounds a bit odd and hard to explain - I'm not sure how I'd cope with using them. When I visit m...

Shed Game - AWI 18mm WoFun
Yesterday, Hotel Tim visited the Shed with his rather splendid WoFun 18mm AWI collection. It was a very close game but Tim and his co commander, my mate Little Dave, eventually won a narrow victory. We all agreed that it would have been a rather less narrow victory had Tim not made so many 'double o...

They look very splendid Paul. There's a lot of work in that lot.
Incidentally, my roll of wall paper arrived yesterday. It's spot on. Many thanks for the heads up.
