Re: Ayton 3-5th May feeding choices ....
Walkers is pants for veggies. Happy to do the Forge on Friday but I think I'll eat at the Lodge on Saturday (nice and civilised).
Tim and I are eating at the Lodge on Thursday. I'll be booking a table soon......shall I add places for Gary, Ken, Andy and, presumably, Peeler?

Re: Salute 2024
Can't get to partizan 2024 as I have a day pass for Legionary 2024 at Exeter on the 11th of May. I am putting on my siege of "Louisbourg game". Any of you chaps coming to Exeter. Willz. Were it not for the show's proximity to Ayton, I would try to attend one year. I've only ever passed th...

Re: Salute 2024
Was toying with the idea of going this year as I missed it last year due to planned rail engineering works making the journey impractical, only to find on checking the journey today engineering works again, so probably not. :wall: Curse Mrs. P for wanting to move to the country. :fp: Curse Mrs P fo...

Re: Tight wad
We are blessed here.... I've done this before but if anyone is visiting the area: Bangor: Hobby Shop - GW, board games, Bolt Action, Army Painter and Ammo Paints. Henry's - GW mainly. Often not open early.... Llanfair PG: Mona Models - tiny shop but GW, Army Painter and plastic models. Porthmadog: ...

Re: Tight wad
and even in Scotland (and other far flung parts of the UK) things like paint or even rattle cans have to come with an expensive courier, I've got an independent Warhammer Shop and a hobby shop (selling I think four model paint ranges) in my high street, with another three model /wargames shops with...
