Re: Slugbalancer's Gallery

Have you tried Clash of Arms' Battles of the Age of Reason games? WAS, SYW and AWI battles. I had The Next Wa...

Re: Airfix 1/76 Guards Colour Party

I remember having the Guards and their band back in the day.
Never could get them to stand in straight lines due to my parents never allowing me to have a really sharp knife to cut them cleanly from the sprues. I wonder why.

Re: 1/300 aircraft

I agree that 1/600 are a good way of doing large scale battles such as the Battle of Britain or the 8th Air Force bombing of Germany in '44/'45.

Re: 1/300 aircraft

Raiden are generally excellent. For 1/300 Scotia Grendel & H&R have larger ranges but are very variable in their quality. I believe the original owners of Raiden produced the Airpower range under the name of B&M. They just switched scales from 1/300 to 1/285 when producing the Raiden air...

Yes, I'm still HTTP rather than HTTPS. The cost of going that way would have doubled my hosting package. Mrs Slug would not have been happy.

Re: Slugbalancer's Gallery

I’ve not posted an update for sometime, so as I’ve just completed my 700th 6mm aircraft, I thought I’d get on and do one. For the 700th aircraft, I put together an example of the first air launched cruise missile and it’s carrier. Scotia Grendel Heinkel He 111H as He 111H-22 with V1 http://www.slugb...
