Garden game

Loosely planning a garden game for the summer. A Little Wars meets WWII sort of bash with lots of tanks etc. Mass painting the Ruskies atm. Will sort a date out soon if anyone is interested?

Personally I'd give them at least a small ability to shoot/throw so they can harrass where opportunity presents but I do take your points about them being a speed bump. If you're wanting to scale back the dice throwing it makes sense. I don't actually know much about Late Roman light tactics. I've a...

Just bought my first ever painted figure. A Prussian officer from a guy on ebay who sells painted Perry command stands. £18 seemed reasonable, will see what the paint job comes back like? Cant be worse than mine.

I am thinking of getting them as well. I am also going to give Neil Thomas Napoleonic rules a run out soon. Plenty of reviews out and WI did a useful youtube video. I liked the smaller army compositions. It sounds a really simple set. Neil Thomas' rules work for anything, do you have his Napoleonic...

Perry metal Nap Prussian Fusiliers and a box of their plastic infantry. Eagerly waiting their plastic cavalry, not that I dont have their metals still to paint. Going to try and finish my Prussians... someday..
