Re: What are people buying?
Artizan's new late war Yanks are quite tempting! I agree, especially as I am working my way through painting a platoon of winter Germans... and they could easily be mixed in with their yanks in greatcoats for variety and ease of painting. Will have to wait till my new contract actually pays me some...

Re: Painting Huns
the traditional story is that they dressed in garments of mouse skins. But you have to take a load of the Late Roman accounts as propaganda hogwash. I would stick with general grot. Greys, browns, etc. Given they were reputed to live in the saddle they must have got pretty grimy and dusty. Depending...

Re: What's on your workbench?
Yep, wot he said... Alien is horror suspense, Aliens is a (fairly) straight war movie, Alien 3 is an abomination, and Alien Resurrection a bit of a pastiche with some amusing bits. The Alien vs Predator spin-offs are just hilarious splatter fests, and the Alien Covenant and so on are pretty lame, no...

It's a big beast of a thing. this is supposed to be 1/56. I had to split it into multiple parts to fit it in my printer. If I printed one again, I would tilt it and add the wheels to the print directly. How big are the Denizen Miniatures?

Except I got distracted... Re: What's on your workbench?
Lovely stuff! And yes, I was wondering the same thing as the Baron. I've always been tempted by the '45 and doubly so, now that I've painted a SYW British army, but have no idea if there was any sort of clan 'theme' running through the plaids and if so, is there anything published on the subject? A...
